Movie's Story Line. While the Bartok Inc. employees wait for Martin Brundle's mutant chromosomes to come out of their dormant state, he is adopted by his father's place of employment (Bartok link here Inc.).
Because the 1986 picture was so popular, and the original had several sequels, it's not surprising that a new sequel was made. As a direct chronological sequel, the two films are quite different and "thrown together" may be more appropriate than one would prefer.
